My Week In Pictures #81

This week school started up and second year began. I made cardboard megaphones and doodled on cardboard. I sewed in ends on a finished knitting project. I submitted my drawings and survived two critiques. I drew tattoos (on my skin and in my sketchbook). I dyed yarn for a project and ended up using the variegated grey yarn instead and I got a spinning lesson.

This week's pictures are all project based! You can tell school's started again. I forgot how exhausting university is! Haha.

My Week In Pictures #80

This week I made jam tarts and ate homecooked dinners by candlelight and drew silly drawings for my project. I took dorky photographs in my enormous new mustard jumper. My flatmate bought me my first mint hot chocolate from Starbucks and I got to spend time with my best, most darling friend. I also went to the cinema and ate nice food and finished my comic and worked and chatted to talented people.

(This post is a day late due to my exhaustion after I finished up something last night! Haha)

My Week In Pictures #79

Reading Crafty magazine - I'm not a big fan of craft magazines - they're often too chintzy for my tastes, or full of regurgitated internet content - but Crafty was a breath of fresh air! Any ideas who I could knit that fox bag for!?

My first hot chocolate with marshmallows in a very long time, accompanied by a note from my aforementioned flatmate.

It's been a long week, hence the quiet on the blog - and I am very tired, I sense a duvet day on the horizon! Have a lovely weekend - mine's going to be spent working a long shift tomorrow, and venturing to ikea on Sunday.

It's been a pretty pleasant week, despite the obnoxious hot weather - it's September now, darn it! Cool down! I'm heading back to London today, for two weeks of last minute catching up on schoolwork.

My Week In Pictures #77

One of my favourite Drawing-A-Day drawings in a long while.

Knitting - working on my arm warmer project and finally finishing up a sock I started a year ago. I just need to find the energy to knit the second sock…

Another week is over. August is, for all intents and purposes, over. I am very excited for September, for school to start and for my weeks to have more structure again. I don't wear free time well! Still, there's a couple of weeks left before term starts, I'm heading to the countryside on Sunday and I'm looking forward to seeing the sea! Just one more day in retail to get through first ;)
