Having my heart broken by a starving not-so-stray cat and making crowns for the Jubilee Weekend. Collecting pretty vintage fabric for my patchwork quilt project. Making cakes and cake bunting. Dusting off the rotary cutter and making a start on the patchwork squares (approx. 300 down, 800+ to go!). Making a poster for work and pressing pretty fabric that was gifted to me. Can you tell by the number of quilt-related photos that I am super excited about my patchwork quilt?! It's been ages since I've used my sewing machine and I can't wait to get back to it! Aside from the quilt, this week has mainly been about work, hence the lack of photographs, but next week my schedule goes back to normal, thank heavens! I hope you've had a good week - it's been a funny one, I have no real idea what day it is, Bank Holiday's fuzz up my brain! haha.

ReplyDeleteI love the colours and patterns of the quilt fabrics. I have so many of those same patterns...love the retro florals too. You know, you gave me an idea today...I might just look into a photography A Level too, it would be so fun and I really want to learn more about all the technical stuff so I don't have to take like a bajillion pictures all the time.
